Summer is on it's way!!!

We spent the weekend in Olympia, Washington celebrating our nephew Trent's High School graduation. We flew in early Thursday and returned on Sunday morning. It was Greta's 2nd flight and she did great. It sure beats a 12 hour drive. We went to the Zoo in Tacoma on Thursday and Greta was able to see all those animals we see in her books. The weather was a bit overcast but very comfortable.

Kristi's college friend Katie met us at the rental car place to let us borrow a car seat for G. We went to her house and spent some time with her and her girls. This is her middle daughter Josi. The girls had a lot of fun with Greta. Many thanks to them for helping us out.
Greta at the Zoo feeding the birds. She was pretty excited to have them land on her stick. She was trying to grab them which apparently is against the rules.

All the crazy girls at the kid play land at the end of the Zoo tour.

Of course Greta needed a stuffed toy at the Zoo.

Picture of the new house. We moved in about a month ago. It seems like we have been here for a week. I cannot wait to have it feel like home. The garage is still pretty full of stuff for a garage sale.

The back yard. We had a fence put in for the dogs the day we moved in. It is so nice not to deal with leashes all the time.

Another picture of the back yard. We are adjacent to farm land. It is very peaceful. I bought a bridge at Costco to cross the irrigation ditch.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you great Mothers out there...

Happy Mother's Day Kristi! This blog post is dedicated to Kristi for being such a wonderful Mom to our little sweetheart. We enjoyed a relaxing day today by going to brunch at Riverside with the Zantos and spending time together at home. We are looking forward to the big move on Thursday into our new home. We are very excited to finally have a "house" with a real yard for the dogs. We have been in our condo for almost 10 years. Wow, how time flies by. Grandma Carol and Grandpa Roger will arrive on Thursday to help out and Grandma Angie and Grandpa Fred will be here by the end of the weekend or beginning of the following week.

Belated post...sorry all.

It has been a month since my last post. Spring is here and the grass is greening up.

Greta has been talking up a storm. She loves her books and her Elmo. We went to Moonlight Basin for Easter weekend with Kristi's parents, her brother Gary and his wife Theresa and their son Seth. Jim and Pam Grover came up for 2 nights as well. The snow was great and Seth learned to ski! He wanted to stay and keep skiing, so I think he is hooked.

It snowed the entire weekend giving us some fresh "Pow Pow" (Powder) on the hill. Kristi and I were able to ski together with the help of Grandma and Grandpa and the Grovers watching Greta.

Theresa and Kristi at Moonlight. Greta loves to go to the park and swing and slide. She runs around and has a blast.

Sweet little thing.

She points to animals in her books.

For hat day at daycare, Greta threw on her Bobcat gear. The daycare is overrun with Griz fans, so they really appreciate her t-shirt that says "I took a Griz in my diaper".
