getting ready for Haloween

We had a busy week last week and a close game in Cheney on Saturday. We are getting ready for a busy Halloween weekend starting with a party at Dave and Yvonne Jarrett's house. I have some plans for a sweet costume which I will post pictures of next week. Greta will do some trick or treating on Saturday night.

Sweet Halloween PJ's. She and I were messing around tonight.

Greta in her new snow suit. I think she would rather be in her bathing suit.

It doesn't happen very often, but check out the fit the G is throwing...

Kristi took some fun pictures in the yard.

My girls goofin around.

Greta gets a charge out of sitting like a big girl. It blows me away how much she has grown and changed into a kid.

She looks like a different kid with her hair down.

New week

We had a great week of weather. It was 70 degrees for the football game on Saturday which allowed for some fun and socializing in the tailgates. Pam's birthday was Saturday and they came to Bozeman in the motorhome for the game. The Cat's pulled it out in overtime.

Greta playing with her lawn mower she got for her birthday.
GGreta showing off the tooth situation. She is getting her front 4 on the top. I think they will all come in at the same time. You can see the front right one here. She has been fighting through the pain and is a trooper as always.
Greta with her Aunt Pam, Mom and Jimmy Gardner at the game.
Grover's tailgate at the motorhome. They had a pretty sweet setup. Unfortunately, the toilet was winterized....The last play of the game in overtime. Fourth down and 3. The Cats had already scored so South Dakota needed a touchdown to tie. You can see the quarterback about to throw.
You can see the ball leaving his hand....
Can you see the open receiver....yikes!!!!!The ball looks like it is on the money. I see no Bobcat defenders to stop him from catching it.
Oh, it hit him in the numbers, and.....he dropped it!!!!! And I thought that only happened to us.
A closeup to give you a better look. Go Cats!!!!!!

Homecoming weekend...another depressing loss

We had a busy week of trying to feel better and be ready for a busy and exciting Homecoming weekend. All 3 of us have had our share of illness and by Friday, Kristi and I were both down and out. We had to miss our friend Colleen's 40th Birthday party as well as the parade on Saturday morning. The weather was absolutely miserable, so I suppose if we were to miss the festivities, this would be the year. It snowed most of the week and the temparatures are in the teens. The leaves are still green on the trees covered in snow.

We were all EXTREMELY excited to watch our Cats and root them on to another victory. This was the first home game since early September which we missed because of our vacation to Washington state. The guys came out strong and gave the other team several chances to win...which they took full advantage of. Another homecoming loss and our backs to the wall in the conference. One day, maybe this won't be the case. So, to be a Bobcat fan, you have to take a lot of ups and downs. Sadly, we are used to the downs. The program is on its way up and we are excited to support them. Go Cats!

Greta has some teeth showing on the top. We expect to see them in their full glory in a day or two. It will be interesting to see her changes with her new chompers.

Greta climbing stairs and scooting down them. She is really getting pretty mobile and loves to be busy around the house. Not the best formula when Mom and Dad are both sick.

Greta with her sweet bangs. Jim Grover says she looks like Herme on the Christmas "cartoon" "Rudolph". If the name of the kid or the show is wrong...blame Kristi and Aunt Jodi.

Greta with her stocking cap. Kristi said she wore it around for quite a while. Usually, hats come off as fast as they are put on.

Nice "pouty" lips. Not gonna work....maybe....OK what do you want?
The balloons are still around, but extremely sad looking. Greta loves them just the same. I think one day, they will have to dissappear.
G with her HUGE bottle. She is growing up so fast, so we should be moving past this stage. On to steak and potatos little G!G running the remote. I am amazed how she changes channels better than me. Greta was eating this apple (on her right shoulder) and couldn't figure out where it went. After a few hours, I just told her.
Julie Schumacher and her son Max at the Cat game. We were ready, willing and able to celebrate, but is was not to be.
I think this look on G's face says it all. If it were socially acceptable, I would look exactly the same.
Kristi and Bryson (Jody and Brent's son) taking in the action. Dudes, the game is the other way!

My lovely wife striking a pose.

Bryson again. Boy, you can't get that kid in front of a camera. What a ham.

At this point, we still had a chance....
In the picture Greta, Mike, Kalli and Cooper Bourrett, me and Tom Martello.

Bobcat defense. Go Cats!

and, the offense.

Max Schumacher on the way to the game with his "game face" on. Oooh, scary!
