Summer is on it's way!!!

We spent the weekend in Olympia, Washington celebrating our nephew Trent's High School graduation. We flew in early Thursday and returned on Sunday morning. It was Greta's 2nd flight and she did great. It sure beats a 12 hour drive. We went to the Zoo in Tacoma on Thursday and Greta was able to see all those animals we see in her books. The weather was a bit overcast but very comfortable.

Kristi's college friend Katie met us at the rental car place to let us borrow a car seat for G. We went to her house and spent some time with her and her girls. This is her middle daughter Josi. The girls had a lot of fun with Greta. Many thanks to them for helping us out.
Greta at the Zoo feeding the birds. She was pretty excited to have them land on her stick. She was trying to grab them which apparently is against the rules.
Greta sitting in front of the monkey cage. She wasn't nearly as excited as I expected her to be.

All the crazy girls at the kid play land at the end of the Zoo tour.
The monkeys goofing around. Pictured are Reese, Josi, Ashlie, Greta and Hannah. Reese, Josi and Hannah are Katie's daughters and Ashlie is Johnny's daughter (sister Jodi's boyfriend).

Of course Greta needed a stuffed toy at the Zoo.

Picture of the new house. We moved in about a month ago. It seems like we have been here for a week. I cannot wait to have it feel like home. The garage is still pretty full of stuff for a garage sale.

The back yard. We had a fence put in for the dogs the day we moved in. It is so nice not to deal with leashes all the time.

Another picture of the back yard. We are adjacent to farm land. It is very peaceful. I bought a bridge at Costco to cross the irrigation ditch.

G in the yard tonight.

Greta helping me pull weeds out of the rock bed. She is a great helper.

G sporting PJ's and white tennis shoes. She wasn't ready for bed quite yet.
